THE WAR

--

It’s time for war.

Fought with weapons mightier than a sword;

Neither bullet nor arrow could win it.

It’s a war,

Where no loss of life is ken,

Yet chills the spines of the bravest

It’s a war :

Blood flows In blue and black,

Quenching the thirst of the white nothingness

It’s a war,

Fought on the smallest battlefields.

It’s a war,

Fought twice a year.

It’s a war,

Fought for three hours .

And the worst part

Is when the invigilator

Pulls away the answer sheet

Before one finishes!

It’s not an exam; it’s a WAR!!!
